I am always leery of auto mechanics for fear of getting a bad deal. Glen was very courteous and upfront in telling me about my cars problem (transmission rebuild). He assured me it could be repaired and gave me a quote. When I went to pick up the car the price was exactly as quoted and the car runs great. Glen and his team were very professional and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Great Transmission Shop

I was traveling on vacation with my family when my vehicle's transmission completely broke near Tulsa. We were a long way from home. I called Central Transmission and spoke to Glen. He arranged for a tow truck and had his staff check out our vehicle right away. I do most of my own work on my vehicles so I suspected the transmission would need to be rebuilt or replaced. Glen was upfront about the prices and time it would take. A rebuilt transmission was needed.

Glen had one of his staff drive me and my family to a rental car facility so we could return home while the repairs were made. I checked around the DFW area, and the price Glen quoted me was less than anywhere I checked. When I picked up my newly repaired vehicle, the price was the same that I had been quoted by Glen (no unexpected add-ons). It has been a couple months since Central Transmission fixed my vehicle and it is driving like new.

Central Transmission was courteous, professional, honest, and fair. We were stranded far from home and they could have taken advantage of that situation, but they treated us right. Needless to say, I recommend Central Transmission without hesitation.

I recently had my transmission rebuilt at Central Transmission. I usually do not take time to do reviews, however I had to share my experience. Glen was very friendly from the first phone call on Wednesday. I took my car in the same day to have a diagnostic ran, which was FREE by the way. For those of you who don’t know a dealership and other Auto shops charge $80-$100. Glen let me know what the problem was and had instructions from my warranty company within 2 hours. He kept me informed of his communications with my warranty company, handled all the billing, and had my car ready the following Wednesday. I highly recommend Central Transmission. Jul 6, 2010

Great and Honest work

Upfront pricing. Quality work. Great warranty. I had an issue with a slave cylinder they installed and he didn't try to give me a run around, just replaced the part with another new one. No more issues after that. I am going back and will keep going back. They do more than just transmissions.

Glen saved me a lot of money by installing a used transfer case in my old Ford. Something that not many places will do. And more improtantly, when the that transfer case proved to be defective, he pulled it out and put another one in. He did what he said he would do, at the price he quoted, and stands behind his work. Thanks Glen! .

Centeral Transmission totally rebuilt my trans. to handle the 500 plus horsepwer engine that it is running, when I had the car built they put a trans. in it for about a 250 H.P. engine and it lasted 2500 miles, but now I have one that will handle the H.P. and I could not be more pleased. So many garage's take one look at the car and said no way Glenn and Lorne said no problem and immediately went to work on it and did a great job, I would highly recommend them for any job even specialty vechiles such as mine. You are welcome to call me at anytime and I will be happy to relate my experince with these two fine gentlemen, Larry Smith Tulsa. Ok.

Glen is Great. I was treated well and the work was top nouch! They built a great Transmission for my Trans Am and explained everything they did and why. THey also did the job in about half the time I expected. I wish all repair shops were as stand up and this one. Dave

I would recommend this shop to anyone. These guys are awesome. They never tried to sell us a service we didn't absolutely need. They charge very reasonable prices and super fast service. They are grade A!!

Trustworthy and Honest

BBrought my car in with more miles on my trannie/engine that I'd like describe. The car ceased to function. The staff managed to tow my car to the shop, diagnosis the problem the same day. My transmission as was replaced within a couple of days. All of which were done for a very affordable competitive price. Thanks to Central Transmission I am back on the road quicker than I expected.
